I first saw images of Charles Fracchia's book Converted Into Houses on Amy's blog An Apple a Day and I was instantly smitten. I trawled amazon and ebay looking for a second hand copy but with no success, so imagine my delight when I came across a copy whilst browsing in the library. The book tells the story behind homes situated in old schools, factories and warehouses. The spaces are filled with details that make me think of the 1970s good life such as crocheted blankets, home made furniture and plants covering every available surface.
